Compass & Bubble Level shows a compass heading and a spirit level using your phone's motion sensors (magnetometer and accelerometer). It runs on your device and its tools work offline — no account, no sign-in.
Sensor readings never leave your device. They are used live to draw the compass and the level and are not stored. The app does not use GPS. The app requests no camera, location, microphone, contacts or file-access permission.
The app has no accounts and collects no personal profile data itself. Because it is free and ad-supported, the Google AdMob advertising SDK collects a limited set of data to serve ads (see Advertising below). Apart from that:
This app is free and shows ads through Google AdMob: a banner at the bottom of the screen. A later version may also show an occasional full-screen ad at a natural break (after switching between compass and level several times), at most one every few minutes. To serve and measure ads, the AdMob SDK collects and shares the following data with Google — even though the app itself never requests it:
This data is used for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention, and is sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. See Google's disclosure at support.google.com/admob/answer/6128543.
You can reset or limit your advertising ID at any time in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads).
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland the app asks for your consent before any ad is requested, using Google's consent form (User Messaging Platform). There you decide whether ads may be personalised. You can change your answer at any time: open the menu (the three dots at the top of the screen) and choose Privacy options. Where no consent form applies, that entry is not shown. The same menu opens this privacy policy.
A one-time Remove Ads in-app purchase removes all ads permanently; once purchased, no further ads are requested or displayed. The purchase is processed entirely by Google Play Billing — we never see or store your payment details.
The app stores only your theme preference, and whether Remove Ads was purchased, locally on your device using Android's SharedPreferences. This never leaves your device.
The app's compass and level need no internet connection. Network access is used only to request ads, to load the consent form where one applies, and to verify an in-app purchase.
The app includes an optional Send Feedback button. Nothing happens unless you tap it. When you do, the app opens a pre-filled draft in your device's own mail app, addressed to feedback@99ersstudio.com, with the app version and your device's operating-system version included so we can reproduce issues. Nothing is sent automatically — you review the draft, may delete the device info, and send it yourself, or simply close it. The app does not collect your email address.
This app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
If we update this policy, we will publish the revised version at this URL. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
