File Converter Privacy Policy

File Converter is designed to process files on your device.

What the app does

Converts image, PDF, audio, and video files locally on your device
Creates PDF files from imported document photos
Stores recent conversion history and free-tier usage counters locally on the device

What we do not do

We do not upload your source files to our servers
We do not require account creation to use the app
We do not sell your files or document content

Data processed on device

The app can access files that you explicitly choose through the system file picker. Those files are processed locally for conversion and export.

The app may also store:

recent conversion metadata, such as source format, output format, timestamp, and file sizes
local free-tier usage counters
local subscription status cache when available

This information is stored on your device to support app features.

Ads and purchases

The free tier can show ads. The app also supports optional Pro upgrades.

Third-party SDKs used by the app may process limited technical or billing-related data:

Google AdMob for ads
RevenueCat for subscription management
Google Play billing infrastructure when purchases are completed

These third-party services may process device identifiers, diagnostics, app interactions, or purchase data as required to provide ads, purchase flows, fraud prevention, and entitlement checks. Final store data-safety disclosures must be reviewed before publication.

Permissions

File Converter uses the system file picker so you choose which files to open.

The current Android release does not require camera permission for its document-photo-to-PDF flow. Document pages are imported from files or photos you explicitly select.

Children

File Converter is not directed to children.
